OUTREACH

We rely on the close cooperation with international and local organisations and activists to challenge the discriminatory practice of institutionalisation of Romani children. The cooperation with these stakeholders is vital for research and advocacy as well as to litigating institutions and state bodies which discriminate against Romani families in their state care systems.

EUROFUND - CHILDCARE

The European Foundation for the Improvement of Living and Working Conditions (Eurofound) provides knowledge to assist in the development of better living and working conditions in Europe. They also research and assess the quality of early childhood education and care services.

TDH

Terre des Hommes’ (TDH) mission is to work for the rights of the child and for equitable development, without racial, religious, political, cultural or gender-based discrimination.

CRIN

Child Rights International Network is the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC), which they use to bring children's rights to the top of the international agenda and to put pressure on national governments to promote and protect children’s rights. They also empower local people to campaign for children’s rights in their country and promote the use of the law as a powerful advocacy tool.

HUNGARIAN CIVIL LIBERTIES UNION (HU)

The Hungarian Civil Liberties Union is a human rights NGO that helps people in Hungary fight for their fundamental human rights. The HCLU pays special attention to political freedom rights, right to self-determination and to the protection of specific vulnerable groups.

FORUM (CZ)

FORUM is a Central European legal NGO focusing on international human rights litigation and advocacy  in Central Europe. They ensure that human rights are respected, protected and fulfilled in accordance with relevant international human rights standards.

CENTER FOR LEGAL CIVIC INITIATIVES (ALB)

Our mission is to support, aid and provide legal education to the citizens, giving priority to women and girls, so as to increase their access to public institutions, and in particular in the justice system

PRAXIS (SRB)

Praxis is a Serbian NGO that protects human rights by providing legal protection and advocacy for elimination of systemic obstacles in access to socioeconomic rights, gender equality, migration and child rights.

LAW FOR LIFE (UK)

We want to improve access to justice for Roma parents going through child protection proceedings. We developed this project in response to concerns about the increase in Roma families subject to child protection investigations and the number of Roma children being taken into care by local authorities in England.
